On July 1, 2008 we interviewed Arthur Allen in Washington D.C.  Arthur is a journalist, and wrote the book ‘Vaccine: The Controversial Story of Medicine’s Greatest Lifesaver’, which goes deep into the history of vaccinations and the controversy of the theory of vaccines causing Autism.

With all of the thousands of people I have met in regards to this entire subject, I view Arthur Allen as a very rare case.  When he started his research, he was very much on the fence whether or not thimerosal (mercury) or vaccinations as a whole were causing Autism and other neurological problems in children.  You will find it very interesting to read one of his first articles on the subject matter published in the New York Times Magazine on 11/10/02 (click on the link at the bottom of this blog to read it).  When I first read it I couldn’t believe it was written by Arthur Allen.  As he researched more and more he became very convinced there is absolutely no relationship between mercury / vaccines and Autism.  It is very rare for me to talk with someone who has nothing at stake here, and has done the research, yet still came to the conclusion that he did.  His research since this article has taken him in the opposite direction, which is perfectly OK in my mind as I believe it is essential for a journalist to maintain their objectivity with the subject matter they are writing about, regardless of what direction it ends up taking them.

Check out the attached video of some of the highlights of what he had to say.
